PPC Experience on Health

Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Disease (NCD):- The programme was implemented with the financial support of  Safe Motherhood Network Federation (SMNF) and World Health Organization (WHO in Janakpurdham Sub-Metro Politian City, Dhanusha, Madhesh province of Nepal. The objective of the project was to  Reduce prevalence of modifiable risk factors: This includes tobacco use, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, harmful alcohol consumption, and exposure to air pollution. Strategies include:Public awareness campaigns on healthy lifestyles. Fund Received from the SMNF was 8,22,600.Major achievements of the project were:Directly 150 women awareness on NCD and Indirectly 1000 People
